Installation of a 924 inline has started

The first installation in Italy of a Topra GD 924 casemaker has started this week.
The machine is equipped with: feeder, four print units with vacuum transport of the board, hot air dryers, rdc, slotter, folding section with vacuum transport , counter ejector with top stacking.
The line is due to start up at the beginning of november , there is therefore big excitement in edf team looking forward to see the first print results on the produced boxes.

Atlanta insider tips

Supercorr is almost at the end and we take the time to drop here some  suggestion about places we discovered during our evenings in the town.

This pic has been shooted at the  Vortex a tipical american  hamburger grill sincerely not suitable for any diet but very funny and even to much tasty!
Menu items sounds like double or triple coronary by pass and if you dare asking for a salat the chef jump personally off the kitchen to ask you if you are crazy?!

Going on more sophisticated things but still very much Hamburger we can suggest the Flip Burger it is a trendy restaurant created by the chef Richard Blais where the hamburger is reinvented in a creative way, also the restaurant architecture is very special and modern, absolutely a must when you are in town.
For the after dinner there is plenty of live music bars in Atlanta, we suggest the blues played at the
Blind WIllies: every evening a new band plays high quality blues, informal fun is  assured!

We are at the Supercorrexpo!

This week take place in Atlanta, USA the show and congress Supercorrexpo 2012, Dong Fang and its american partner  Haire  exhibit in one of the biggest booth of the show where they have placed one  Casmaker Topra GD 1228 and  a rotary die cutter  Apstar 1628.
Several international visitors have taken the opportunity to see the machines which are the most sold in US.

The show has been the occasion for DF and Haire to announce the founding of a new company in the USA which will exlusively provide service and parts to the american installed base of DF machines.

The company will have a wide spare parts storage and specialised engineers.

The ample number of installed machines in the area strongly demand this step forward witht the target to have a close relationship with all the customers and grant their full satisfaction.

Fachpack is finished with a positive balance

We are back from Fachpack and leaving already for the Supercorrexpo in Atlanta, we take a moment to make a summary of the show.
The exhibition has been very satisfactory, we received visits from all our established customers, met new prospects and signed orders on the booth.
Among many shows which struggle to survive Fachpack confirms itself as a lively place where packaging profis meets to make business.
Between the many customers on the booth we had the pleasure to receive the visit of Martin Rehorik from the company Obaly Morava (Cek republic) accompained by his technical manager Vadim Sury.
Martin has signed in our booth an order for an automatic prefeeder Flexyfeed with  plastic conveyors in front to serve his Bobst Mastercut 1700 flat bed die cutter.
The machine will be delivered at the beginning of december.
We thanks very much Martin and Vadim for the confidence  granted to our company as well all the other customers which have started new investment project with us in this period.

Edf team dinner at Fachpack

Yesterday night the team present at the Fachpack booth went in the Nurberg Altstadt for a tipical German dinner.
Some customer and partners joined the event .
Of course there was beer and a lot of fun for all the partecipants..

First day booth full

It is the first show day and our booth is already full.
Many customers from Germany but also from east Europe are showing interest for the showed solutions.
For tomorrow we expect even a bigger partecipation

Fachpack show beginns

In one hour start the Fachpack show in Nuremberg, the booth is ready.
Edf will present the latest Flexyfeed prefeeder for high speed minilines with printing from above.
All the customers from central and north Europe are wellcome.

New castaldini brochures

Taking the opportunity of the open house which is having place right now in our Argelato plant, we have designed and printed the new brochures for the main machines in the Castaldini range.
The design has chosen an immediate and essential communication style, almost minimalist, able to rapidly identify the key features of each product.
At the moment there is available the brochure for the Flexyfeed prefeeders family,

For the automatic paletiser  Flexypal

For the Stripper stacker for rotary die cutter  Flexystack

These three machines represents the heart of the castaldini production as with them it is possible to automate the most of the paperboard corrugated converting lines such as casemakers, rotary die cutters and flat bed die cutters.

In th enext weeks the brochures range will be completed with the other products which even if less known,represents in any case an important part of the company turn over.  

BUSY WORKSHOP IN THE BOLOGNA PLANT

Despite the crisis the Argelato workshop of Edf Europe is working full steam and it didn't stop even for the summer vacations.
There are several orders to complete and deliver within the end of September.
At the moment we have in assembly (and almost completed) the following productes:
One Flexyfeed 1624 prefeeder which will be placed in England to serve a rotary die cutter.

The first version of the Minifeed 920 top printing prefeeder for minilines casemakers which will be shown during the Fachpack exhibition at the end of september.

One batch only stripper stacker 2400 wide which will be placed in England in the  same company where the Flexyfeed will be installed.

Part of this project will be also an automatic paletisation line for die cuts complete with bundles breaker and various material handling at the infeed and outfeed of the RDC.

All the customers having an interest in seeing in the details the features of these machines are kindly invited to visit Edf Europe workshop during the week in between sept 10 and sept 14, the sales department will be at disposal to clarify all the features of the machines in production.
