VMT-DF ENDS WITH SUCCESS THE SINO CORRUGATED SHOW IN SHANGHAI

From April 8th to 11th the SIno Corrugated have taken place in Shanghai, this is the most important for paperboard production and converting equipments in the world. 

Dong Fang has confirmed its leading role in the asiatic market by partecipating with a big booth and machines in production.

On the boot of the cantonese house was exhibit one rotary die cutter  Apstar HG 1228  with automatic  prefeeder and ZFI  stripper stacker.

On this line several demos have been performed by producing multiout and nickless beer boxes.

Trough this installation Dong Fang confirms its innovative mood by introducing as first vision on the asiatic market a high level automated solution for the entire process.

Beside the rotary die cutter it was placed a new version of the high graphich printing line Topra PDS 1600x1200, the eight colour line with dryers (hot air and infrared) was in operation printing and varnishing coated white top.

Several visitors from the entire world have had the chance to appreciate the known printing quality and productivity of Dong Fang machines.

From April 8th to 11th the SIno Corrugated vahe taken place in Shanghai, this is the most important for paperboard production and converting equipments in the world. 

Eterna  was present with a big booth where two mirrored  automatic flat bed die cutters was shown, the two lines was one  PE 1620 SA Elite  equipped with CS 3005 F and dual  breaker and one  PE 1620 SAL ACTION.

Both machines are part of the latest flat bed die cutters generation designed by the Shanghai based company the difference in between the two is that the Elite is a machine dedicated to the standar paperboard converting whilst the action is equipped with the "long feeder" particularly suitable for the converting of laminated paperboard.

The long feeder is an additional register station placed between the lead edge feeder and the gripper bar, thanks to this each board is carefully aligned on the lead edge and one side edge before to meet the gripper bar.

Beside the two flat bed die cutters it was shown a multipoint gluer  TC 1700 equipped for  4 corners tasks.

All the machines was in operation and customers coming from the entire world have had the opportunity to appreciate the constructive quality and the precision of the converted  product .

The CCE show in Munich is finished and we are already preparing for the next Sino show in Shanghai.
CCE was at its first edition but we think the balance has been positive, after long time with no corrugated shows in Europe many customers have decided to visit CCE, the show was  not huge in term of exhibitors but it has been a fantastic opportunity for all the actors of the industry to meet and speak about ongoing and future projects.
EDF Europe has been present on the Dong Fang Precision booth with the complete european sales team and also the top management of DF.

Since some month it is in operation one casemaker Topra GD 924 in the italian factory Simba e Riunite, the machine is composed by : feeder, four print unit with vacuum trasport and hot air dryers, slotter,rdc, vacuum transport folder , counter ejector with top stacking.
Despite the line still has no peripherals is demonstrating already a very high productivity.
Several customers has already visited the site to see in real the line quality, during one of this visits we have made a non professional video where it is possiple to see the speed and quality of the machine.

Installation of a 924 inline has started

The first installation in Italy of a Topra GD 924 casemaker has started this week.
The machine is equipped with: feeder, four print units with vacuum transport of the board, hot air dryers, rdc, slotter, folding section with vacuum transport , counter ejector with top stacking.
The line is due to start up at the beginning of november , there is therefore big excitement in edf team looking forward to see the first print results on the produced boxes.

Atlanta insider tips

Supercorr is almost at the end and we take the time to drop here some  suggestion about places we discovered during our evenings in the town.

This pic has been shooted at the  Vortex a tipical american  hamburger grill sincerely not suitable for any diet but very funny and even to much tasty!
Menu items sounds like double or triple coronary by pass and if you dare asking for a salat the chef jump personally off the kitchen to ask you if you are crazy?!

Going on more sophisticated things but still very much Hamburger we can suggest the Flip Burger it is a trendy restaurant created by the chef Richard Blais where the hamburger is reinvented in a creative way, also the restaurant architecture is very special and modern, absolutely a must when you are in town.
For the after dinner there is plenty of live music bars in Atlanta, we suggest the blues played at the
Blind WIllies: every evening a new band plays high quality blues, informal fun is  assured!

We are at the Supercorrexpo!

This week take place in Atlanta, USA the show and congress Supercorrexpo 2012, Dong Fang and its american partner  Haire  exhibit in one of the biggest booth of the show where they have placed one  Casmaker Topra GD 1228 and  a rotary die cutter  Apstar 1628.
Several international visitors have taken the opportunity to see the machines which are the most sold in US.

The show has been the occasion for DF and Haire to announce the founding of a new company in the USA which will exlusively provide service and parts to the american installed base of DF machines.

The company will have a wide spare parts storage and specialised engineers.

The ample number of installed machines in the area strongly demand this step forward witht the target to have a close relationship with all the customers and grant their full satisfaction.
